We live in California and the bridal shower will be held here. The wedding is in alabama. A few months after the wedding (after the xmas holidays) we are having a party/reception here in California for friends who couldn't make it to alabama.

Our wedding ceremony is 1:30pm with a reception at 5pm. (I didn't want that huge space in between but it was beyond our control. There are two other weddings at my church that day so I didn't have much of a choice when it came to picking a time. Yikes!) The cocktail hour is from 5pm-6:30pm. I know.......
