Accommodations

I'm traveling from out of town to be an attendant in a friend's wedding. When she was in mine, we paid for her hotel for 4 nights. After reading several replies, I now know that it is 'proper ettiquette' for the wedding party's lodging to be paid for by the wedding couple. I didn't realize this before.
