Wedding Flowers Do Double Duty
Use your bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets on the head table, the table card and/or the guest book/gifts table to double as reception decorations. Consider
carrying a single "perfect" bloom, instead of an expensive bouquet.

Preserving Your Wedding Cake
It's easy if done correctly. Wrap the top layer really well in plastic wrap. Then re-cover in aluminum foil. Don't use foil only, because it leaves a mettalic taste. Store the cake in the back of your freezer where temperature remains constant.

Questions to Ask Your Wedding Florist
Do you use any dyes in the bridal or bridesmaid bouquets? Do your fees include delivery and pick up at the end of the wedding? Will you stay to pin on any corsages or boutonnières?

White Doves At Weddings
White dove release is an ancient tradition that has become popular again. The elegance can be quite charming. Don't be tempted to use pet store birds - they don't have a homing instinct and will not survive after release. Contact a professional dove release company that uses trained homing doves.

Be Sure To Thank Parents
No wedding is complete without thank you's. Floral arrangements in your parents' hotel rooms or at their homes, the day before the wedding, is a lovely way to say, "You're really special to us!" Make sure to include a personal note.

Wedding Jewelry Tips
Earrings serve as a frame for your face. When you select the earrings to wear at your wedding, make sure you try them on to make certain the weight is comfortable. Size and weight go together. Larger, heavier earrings may become uncomfortable to wear over several hours.

Shopping in Color
"Swatch It" when you go shopping for party favors, decorations and flowers. Bring along ribbon in the colors of your wedding. That will make it easier to find items that match.
