Updated twice daily with all different parts of the planning experience, you can even find five specialty blogs inside the “dotted” umbrella: Groom, Wisdom, Weddings, Made & Honeymoons! And I got to chat a bit with Ms. Polka Dot herself all about the whimsical wonderings behind the blog!
How & Why Did Your Get Started Blogging?
“I have always loved weddings, at 8 I’d borrow wedding magazines from the library and photocopy my favourite parts. I started Polka Dot Bride as a hobby one lazy day and it grew from there.”
Favorite Part about Blogging and about Your Polka Dot Bride? Quite simple I love love and I love that every day I’m able to tell stories of love and hope and have that story come alive with all kinds of beautiful things like beautiful gowns, amazing cakes, floral arrangements that are out of this world and so much more.
I love that Polka Dot Bride lives up to that tagline and the original mission – inspiring weddings. Both inspiring couples to create a day that is uniquely theirs, whether that’s in a paddock under a tepee with everyone dressed in a fancy dress, an industrial style occasion in a warehouse with a sequin wedding gown or a classic black tie occasion. But it also showcases inspiring weddings – couples who are truly doing it their way and honouring their own lives and stories together.”
