Being a maid of honor is not really an easy thing. It might be a pleasure, but this role comes with a lot of duties. You will also be in the center of the attention before and on the wedding day too, because you are some of the most important ladies there. Actually, you are the lead lady of the bridesmaids. After choosing the right wedding venue, you will need to help the bride with the seating arrangement. If the bride – to – be has a big wedding with a lot of guests, she will surely need a companion to do this with. Setting the guests in the right places is a tricky thing, because you do not want to set people next to other people that can’t stand one another. You will also help her choose her wedding dress and, if asked, the bridesmaid dresses also. The bridal shower is your duty too, by the way. You will need to host and prepare everything.

On the wedding day you will have to check on the reception room and party room to see if everything is in place and that no issues have occurred and need to be solved. Always have a hand that is free, because you might be asked to hold the bride’s bouquet or help her with her train and veil.
