Wedding cakes with flowers

Most women love flowers, and when it comes to weddings they try to incorporate flowers in as many concepts as possible: the arrangements, the decorations, the food, the testimonies, and even in the invitations; so, why not have flowers in the wedding cake, too? Nowadays, this is not a difficult task anymore thanks to the technology that makes even dream styles become reality.

For instance, you can have a two tiers cake that can be either round or square. Between the two tiers you should have a big space in which a bouquet of flowers can be introduced and arranged in an interesting manner. For a clearer image, you could have some sunflowers and some daises surrounding each of the tiers and some more sunflowers as cake toppers.

It would not be a bad idea if you also had a nice chocolate cake. And when we say chocolate we think about a cake made entirely out of chocolate. Play a little with the black and white contrast and add some red daisies to the tiers. The flowers will create an enchanting effect; but you already know that that is how the magic of the intense red works. Do not use too many red daisies, though, as this will overcrowd the cake and turn it to a “tiresome” sight.

A good idea would also be to use big green leaves combined with some white flowers. The flowers that are usually chosen for this specific design are the roses. The contrast of the roses and green leaves will make your cake look classy. You could combine the flowers with some fine pearls and the visual effect will be even more delightful; a real feast for the eyes! This type of cake comes best in a square shape.

It will not be out of place to even have a small cake made in the usual two tiers style. The cake can consist of white cream and you can surround the basis of each tier with lots of tiny chocolate squares. You now probably wonder where are the flowers in this design.

Well, they are right around the corner, literally, as you will have colored roses placed there. The color of the flowers matters less here, the roses can be white, orange, yellow, red or even pink. The cake topper should be represented by bouquet of roses mixed with some twigs or any other green element, for a better contrast.
