First off, I would like to wish everyone a very happy and healthy New Year! The holidays were the perfect time for engagements, so I’d also like to congratulate all the newly engaged couples who are entering into their wedding planning.
With the beginning of 2011, we have entered into Trunk Show season! For those newly engaged women out there who may not know what a trunk show is, let me explain…Trunk Shows are events scheduled by retailers across the country to bring designers and brides together and showcase the newest of new wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses. This is an excellent opportunity to preview styles which aren’t widely available at other retailers in your area and the best way to get an awesome deal on your gown. Many stores offer huge discounts when ordering at trunk show and/or additional perks like free veils or shoes. Aside from the deals, you can usually meet the designer or a representative of the company so you can ask as many detailed questions as you can think of!
