Hi – I’m the soon to be daughter-in-law of the president of Top Wedding Sites, Inc. and well, hey, the position has it’s perks. No, that isn’t me in the photo – heh. But I did agree to review a few wedding products which I’ll be using for my wedding coming up really soon. So, here goes, my very first product review of bridal lingerie by Lingerie Please:
I chose the Gossard Reverie Suspender Belt, Gossard Reverie Short, Charnos Bridal Hold Ups, Charnos Bridal Garter and the Wonderbra Ultimate Lace Strapless from the bridal lingerie selection at Lingerie Please.
I must admit, I was a bit apprehensive about buying underwear for my wedding online. But, all of the pieces fit perfectly. The bra gives great support under my strapless wedding gown and is super comfortable. I never had to adjust it because it stayed in place all day. I washed everything on a delicate cycle in the washer and it held up well, even though I’m not exactly famous for my laundry expertise!
The Gossard Reverie Suspender Belt and Short were easy to put on and take off. They were also super comfortable to wear. I was kind of intimidated to put on all of these things at first because I don’t usually wear these fancy types of undergarments. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to figure out how to wear it properly, but it was surprisingly easy to wear.
My shopping experience at the website was a little confusing since they only seemed to have large sizes available, especially for the bras. I understand that the owner has had such a positive response to her new bridal lingerie that she has expanded the selections to include many sizes so many of the items are now available in smaller sizes. Kudos! Even though the shop is in the UK and I’m in the US, we had absolutely no problem receiving the merchandise.
Again, everything was made well, looked good and is uber comfortable. I can honestly say I have worn many strapless bras (mostly from Victoria’s Secret) and this particular bra is so much more comfortable and much more supportive. Customer service was great, pricing fair (IMO) and shipping fast. A really nice shopping experience and the owner supports Ovarian Cancer Action which is a subject all women should get to know more about.
