Facebook Marketing Tips To Keep You Out Of Trouble |
|
Being successful in social media is as much about what NOT TO DO, as what TO DO. Here are a few quick hints to keep you both effective and efficient.
- Less is more: When it comes to Facebook – Don’t create unnecessary, separate personal pages, business pages or business groups. Have a distinct reason for doing each and don’t create more than necessary. You’ll find yourself behind the times in doing the maintenance to keep them up to date.
- When it comes to Facebook Contests, it’s about the RULES: Want to run a contest on your Facebook page to build up the number of Likes? Stop!!! Facebook has some specific do’s and don’ts. Read them BEFORE you go to work.
- Inaccurate Facebook Page Information: The Facebook page “edit page” is in the upper-right corner of your screen. Make certain the company description, permissions, are as you want them.
- Have a Facebook Add function on your website: Make it easy for people to follow you on Facebook. Don’t know how to do it? Find out how…
