If it is near a well-lit area such as a tent or gazebo at a country club, you may not need as much lighting.
There are plenty of creative ways to incorporate additional lighting into your wedding ceremony. For instance, giving the guests wedding sparklers to hold up as the bride walks down the aisle gives a romantic ambiance. If you plan on having your reception outside as well, you can also have your guests release sky lanterns to light up the night-time sky.
Check the Weather – And Be Prepared
As you very well know, the spring time can be pretty unpredictable. One minute, it can be warm and sunny and the next it’s pouring down rain. Be sure that you have prepared for this ahead of time. Check the weather for your big day and if necessary make accommodations for your guests should it predict rain.
Having a nice white tent that can hold your guests, or ask the reception hall to reserve a banquet area for rain. If you’re planning a wedding in your own backyard, you’ll want to make sure that your house is decorated as well, just in case everyone needs to run indoors.
Have a Photo Room
Night-time photos can be pretty tricky. While quality cameras and proper lighting for your nighttime affair provide the most efficient solution, if the odds are stacked against you, having a photo room or lounge area is ideal. Set up an area where you and your spouse can take photos with your guests so that you have nice quality pictures to add to your photo album.
Dance Floor
After the ceremony is over, everyone is looking forward to some good food, drinks, and music to jam to. Dancing outside in heels can be quite the pain as they get stuck in the mud. Not to mention beautiful gowns dragging on the outside ground. Therefore, you’ll want to invest in a removable dance floor so that everyone can get down without getting dirty.
