If you\u2019re anything like me, you\u2019ve been dog-earing dresses in bridal magazines for years. While your browsing in magazines is wonderful for inspiration, it&#8217;s important to remember that the women wearing these gowns are models.\u00a0Spoiler Alert: Not all dresses you see will flatter all body types.<\/p>\n<p>At the\u00a0start of my dress search, I had already written off mermaid\/trumpet styles. No way, not for me. And what did I end up getting? That very style. The point is, you don\u2019t know how something will look until you try it on.<\/p>\n<p>As we said, keep an open mind, but we&#8217;ve created the\u00a0cheat sheet below to give you a head-start in finding the most flattering style for your body type.
