Most professional DJs will know how to dress according to the event they\u2019re playing at. But, as the bride and groom, you may be asked by your pro what you\u2019d like for them to don on the wedding day. It may not seem important in advance but remember your DJ will end up in many photos while people are dancing.<\/p>\n

So, should they go most business casual or slip into a tux for the big event? They\u2019ll be prepared no matter what, you just have to make the decision on what you\u2019d like.<\/p>\n

DJ Attire Ideas<\/b><\/h2>\n

If most of your male guests are wearing a suit and tie and you have a male DJ; that is what he should be wearing. If your guests are wearing khakis and a shirt, we would recommend he wear a tie but not much more formal. Again, enhance not distract.<\/p>\n

As you are planning your music and other details with your DJ, we encourage you to have a conversation about attire as well.<\/p>\n

How would you feel if all your guests are dressed to the nines and your DJ is in jeans and a sweatshirt? \u00a0Remember, they work for you.<\/p>\n

Formal<\/h3>\n

Tuxedos, suits and ties, they can add color or accessorize a bit to fit their personality and vibe, as long as they won\u2019t look underdressed in a room full of formal-wearing guests. You\u2019ll want your photos to be seamless and the pros be on par with the loved ones in terms of attire.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re having a more laidback event, make sure you relay that to the DJ. Showing up in a tux when you\u2019re groomsmen are in jeans may not be the most comforting to anyone. Let him\/her know that they can wear denim or more trendy, casual clothing.<\/p>\n
