We like the way I look when we\u2019re bronzed. Here\u2019s what comes into our minds \u201cI\u2019m vain. I guess that is what it boils down to.\u201d (Don\u2019t we always want what we don\u2019t have?) Or the night you have to wear that superb satin dress and you\u2019re white as snow or, better, tanned with lines.  Us mortals find avoiding tan lines one of the most hard existential quests at the beginning of the summer interval.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<!--more--><br \/>\nTan lines are hard to avoid. Whether you\u2019re sunbathing or simply outside working or playing, you\u2019re bound to come home with tan lines in the strangest places.  We know the remark \u201cWhat in the name of God?!\u201d hasn\u2019t strike you as odd too many times\u2026but what remains to be done in order to avoid this?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cover up \u2014 or get naked. The best way to prevent tan lines is to cover your body fully in loose clothing, or let it all hang out and soak in the sun\u2019s rays evenly. Since it isn\u2019t typical  to be naked outdoors, loose clothing will help prevent tan lines since the clothing will shift, which will alternate the areas of your skin that are exposed to the sun.<\/li>\n<li>Use a good sun block and use it everywhere. You\u2019ll help prevent skin cancer and reduce the risk of tan lines.<\/li>\n<li>Pull the straps off your shoulders while sunbathing, and unclip the back of your bikini top when lying face down.<\/li>\n<li>Stay out of the sun during \u201chot hours\u201d. When the sun is most powerful, from noon until 3:00 pm, it is most likely to burn and damage exposed skin, resulting in even more dramatic tan lines.(or the more commonly known \u201croasted effect\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>Apply a self tanner to the unexposed areas to even out the tan and camouflage tan lines. Be sure to use gloves when applying so as not to tan the palms of your hands (a clear enough signal that you cheated and used an artificial tanner).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And as a last resort: cover up! We know it sounds awful during summer, but if nothing else comes in handy, adopt SOS measures.  Put aside the tank top and opt for a long sleeve gauze or linen shirt or apply makeup to lighter areas so they more closely resemble the color of your tan.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you see them as strategies or SOS tips, these are what we consider to be \u201c<strong>tan saving techniques<\/strong>\u201d when it comes to your summer appearance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cWhite skin is now thought to be culturally ugly by the mainstream,\u201d say 80% of regular people.
