There are ins and outs of the wearing that need to be perfected and fitted before he\u2019s ready at the end of the aisle. Check out our quick list of do\u2019s and don\u2019ts and familiarize yourself with the etiquette behind the groom\u2019s tuxedo-wearing.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Tuxedo Do\u2019s<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Do find the right cut for your body type.<\/b> Here are some suggestions:\n<ul>\n<li>Tall and slim: Anything will work here as long as it\u2019s fitted nicely.<\/li>\n<li>Short and slim: Single-breasted jackets.<\/li>\n<li>Short &amp; stocky: No cummerbunds.<\/li>\n<li>Tall &amp; muscular\/big &amp; tall: Single or double-breasted jackets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Do think about going blue. <\/b>Best with fairer skin, eyes, and hair, midnight colors work just like a classic black.<\/li>\n<li><b>Do wear a cummerbund or vest<\/b> &#8211; if you\u2019re having a black tie event.<\/li>\n<li><b>Do wear cufflinks. <\/b>Add a flair of your own personality with some funky ones or keep it simple and clean with a nice set of silver and black. (Just don\u2019t forget them.)<\/li>\n<li><b>Do get it tailored to fit. <\/b>Assuming you buy, it\u2019s an absolute must that you find a tailor to make sure every hem is made correctly.<\/li>\n<li><b>Do go with a white shirt.<\/b> Picking out color here isn\u2019t rocket science, always go with white.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Tuxedo Don\u2019ts<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Don\u2019t overshadow the bride.<\/b> Make sure you\u2019re happy with the choice but listen to the bride. She knows what she\u2019s wearing and she also knows the level of formality that the day is shooting for.<\/li>\n<li><b>Don\u2019t go glossy with your shoes.<\/b> Matte styles are much more chic and rich looking once the entire ensemble is slipped on.<\/li>\n<li><b>Don\u2019t go crazy on the colors.<\/b> Classic will always be the best, timeless option.
