What do you man by “template”. What exactly do you need? <\/p>\n
I need to know what goes on an informal program and the order it should go in. Can you help me with that? Thanks for your reply. <\/p>\n
In an informal ceremony, you may be more creative and personal with the wording if you wish.<\/p>\n
Here are the bare bones:<\/p>\n
-Procession (You may list the members of the bridal party and the pieces of music being played.)
\n-Opening Words
\n-(Invocation–that is, an opening prayer if there is one.)
\n-Reading (If there is one, list the piece being read and the reader’s name if it is not the celebrant.)
\n-Words to the Couple (by celebrant)
\n-Declaration of Intent
\n-Vows
\n-Exchange of Rings (or Blessing and Exchange of Rings)
\n-Parting Blessing (or Parting Words)
\n-Pronouncement
\n(The Kiss is NOT mentioned in the program, but it goes here!)
\n-Recession (List music being played)<\/p>\n
Into this, you would insert whatever rituals you would include. For example, The Unity Candle or Candle Lighting would go just after the Exchange of Rings. The Rose Ceremony would go just after the celebrant’s words to the couple—or it can be your parting ritual. You may also include a few personal words of gratitude to your parents and\/or all your guests on the back of the program. Some couples include their entire reading or some other poetic verse.<\/p>\n
Whatever you do, try to enjoy creating it, and let it reflect YOU!
