I would like to get my husband a small gift when we renew our vows next month. I have a few ideas of things I might like to get him but none of them are incredibly romantic or particularly special. What is a good idea of something that would be appropriate for this occasion?<\/p>\n

Maybe a photo album with select pictures of the two of you from the time you first met and then every year until today. Same idea can be done with a DVD slideshow. Thank you for your advice on vow renewal etiquette. This is just going to be a small “event-” just me, my husband, and my parents, at a chapel (and we’re calling the whole thing a vow renewal, nothing wedding-oriented.) We’ll just be taking my parents out to dinner at a restaurant afterwards; this isn’t really a whole big to-do, it’s just for me and my husband and my parents happen to be sharing part of it with us. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

-a “Why I love you” and “What I appreciate most about you” list – name and describe times and incidents when you felt he was thoughtful, kind and caring \/ when you felt most loved and appreciated \/things that you truly appreciate about him.<\/p>\n

– a gift certificate for a romantic weekend at a B & B<\/p>\n
