This will require some work on your part but it is worth the time! Here&#8217;s how you play: Before the shower, ask the groom several questions about the bride. For example, &#8220;What is her favorite flower?&#8221; or &#8220;What is her dream date?&#8221; Videotape his answers to each of the questions. At the shower, ask the same series of questions to the guests and have them write down their answers. After all the questions have been answered, ask each one to the bride and have her give her answer. Next play the videotape of her fianc\u00e9e&#8217;s answers &#8211; just for fun. The one that gets the most answers right wins! &#8211; A Fun Card Game!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Are you planning a bridal shower?\u00a0 Bridal shower games are often difficult to find or come up with, especially on a tight budget.\u00a0\u00a0 Simple card games for bridal showers are ideal &#8211; something that everyone, from kids to great-grandmothers can play together, and preferably have some kind of wedding theme.\u00a0 Well, we have a great card game for you!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Bridal Shower &#8220;Hearts&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; you need an ordinary set of playing cards and two dice for every 4-6 guests (or 4-6 teams, if guests wish to double up).\u00a0 The object of the game is to acquire the King and Queen of Hearts, the Ace of Diamonds, and Hearts in general, while also getting rid of Spades.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li>Roll the dice to see who goes first.\u00a0 Highest number goes first.\u00a0 Or, the first person could be the one at the table who has been married the longest.\u00a0 If the bride is sitting at the table, then of course she gets to go first!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li>The first person rolls the dice.\u00a0 The <em>highest<\/em> die is the number of cards the person draws from the shuffled deck, and the <em>lowest<\/em> die is the number of cards that player must give to the person on the right.\u00a0 (For example &#8211; if someone rolls 5 and 3, that person draws 5 cards and discards 3.)\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">During the first round<\/span>, if a player rolls double numbers (two 2s, two 3s, etc) since the player does not yet have cards, that player must roll again until they have two different numbers.<\/li>\n<li>If a player rolls <em>two<\/em> (two 1s), they do not need to discard, unless they want to (in order to get rid of Spades) in which case they may discard one or two cards, AND they get another roll of the dice.\u00a0 If they roll a two during the first round when they don&#8217;t yet have cards, they simply get to roll again.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>next person to the left<\/em> of the first player rolls the dice, and all the above rules apply.<\/li>\n<li>If someone acquires both the King and Queen of Hearts, that player shouts &#8220;I do!&#8221; and wins the game!<\/li>\n<li>If no one gets both the King and Queen of Hearts, then when the entire deck has been drawn, the players count up their points gained &#8211; one point for every Heart, and one point for the Ace of Diamonds.\u00a0 They also need to subtract one point for every Spade.\u00a0\u00a0 Diamonds (except the Ace), Clubs, and Jokers don&#8217;t count.\u00a0 Whoever has the most points remaining wins.<\/li>\n<li>In the event of a tie, the person with the highest ranking Heart wins, with the Queen being the highest card, the King second, the Two of Hearts third, the Ace of Diamonds fourth, and the rest of the Hearts in descending order down to the Ace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you&#8217;ve got plenty of card sets but just can&#8217;t find enough dice to go around, here&#8217;s a variant of the game without dice:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li>Draw cards from the deck to see who goes first &#8211;
