With the start of the New Year, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.heraldmailmedia.com\/news\/tri_state\/pennsylvania\/straps-making-comeback-on-bridal-gowns-of-future\/article_bc64ceee-7675-11e3-a6e1-0019bb30f31a.html\" target=\"_blank\">Huffington\u00a0Post<\/a>\u00a0just published its list of the top\u00a0<a title=\"2014\" href=\"http:\/\/www.topweddingsites.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">2014 wedding trends<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2014 will be the year of true romance, from invitations to flowers and everything in between.<\/li>\n<li>Music that fits\u00a0your\u00a0theme. Bandleader Alex Donner says that clients are requesting music to match their wedding themes, for example films like the Great Gatsby and locales like France.<\/li>\n<li>The Great Gatsby also turns up as a starting point for brides who want a return to tradition with crystal candlesticks and gold-rimmed china. Beth Helmsetter of Beth Helmsetter Events in Los Angeles says that her brides \u201c<em>are still falling hard for the bubbly, approachable elegance of the Roaring Twenties<\/em>.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Lush, soft romantic flowers like the peony and the garden rose.<\/li>\n<li>Citrus and fern garlands decorating bars, tables and arches.<\/li>\n<li>Spicy menus. Brides and guests are both looking for spicy options on the reception menu.<\/li>\n<li>Bling. The look ranges from a fairy dusting of very fine glitter on the top cake tiers to sparkling disco balls.<\/li>\n<li>Pink wedding gowns. The pink trend will continue in 2014 and will include nudes, blushes, and peach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Over the past several years, strapless dresses have been the most popular.
