Wedding songs are those which set the tone at a wedding.It’s not only about the main song,the music has to be entertaining so the guests and grooves enjoy their unique party.The whole music selection must express your feelings,but also happiness.
So we find out there are songs for every single part of the big event.
The 2 parts of wedding are : Ceremony and reception
At the Ceremony the most popular songs are in my opinion : “Truly , madly , deeply “ (Savage Garden), “ Love of my life “ (Jim Brickman / Michael Smith) , “Heaven”(Bryan Adams) , “It’s your love”(Tim McGraw) “If you’re not the one” (Daniel Bedingfield).We also listen to a lot of “All you need is love” from Beatles and of course the unique “ You’re my first,my last,my everything” (Barry White).
As processional music we also have a large variety . From Aerosmith – “I don’t wanna miss a thing” , Elvis Presley – “Can’t help falling in love” or Louis Armstrong “What a wonderful world”.
Some examples for wedding recenssional music are,for instance,Spring of Autum from “For Season “ Vivaldi or anything more,let’s say,classic music like Beethoven – “Ode to joy”
As for reception we have same important part – so must be the song.
For example the wedding must have introduction song,wedding dinner songs,last dance song but also the song chosen for the mother-son dance,father-dauther dance.I will have to choose between “You raise me up”by (Josh Groban) or “Isn’t she lovely” (Stevie Wonder) .The excellent choice for mother – son dance song would be “ A song for mama” or even “In my life” (Bette Midler).
So,the wedding song should express your feelings,your wishes,your love for your future companion of life,but also your love for your relatives and friends in order to create the perfect night for you.
As for the party , release your imagination,your mood and choose the songs that seems right to you.All you have to do is feel the music and love
