Shining A Light: Burnett’s Boards

We like to inspire brides-to-be all around, but we get inspired too! We’re shining a light some of the spots we look to for ideas and advice. From local favorites around the country to popular sites brides dive into all around the world, we’ve sharing the best of the best in a whole new way. We’ve chatted with some of the bloggers, creators and founders of some wonderful wedding blogs and got the inside scoop!

Burnett’s Boards provides new and exciting wedding inspiration daily and I instantly fell in love with the site’s whimsical spirit and drive to push bride’s into creating something memorable. We got to chat a bit with the lady behind the blog, Sara Burnett, and she gave us some insight on all of its inter-workings!tablescapeplace setting

“Burnett’s Boards is updated daily with wedding inspiration boards, styled shoots, bridal fashion, and event design & styling articles. I find great joy in bringing the very best in creative design to both brides and industry professionals around the world and like to think of this blog as a book – each chapter contributing to the greater whole: a resource of wedding inspiration. I aim to give the editorial a personal touch without making the blog about me & foster the blog’s community through social media and an industry-supportive mindset.

I was working for Modern Weddings Hawaii and Morgan Childs of Moana Events and decided to start my own blog. It grew from there. It was a bit of a fluke really but I fell in love with blogging and my passion shined through, gaining me quite a following.”

Your favorite aspect about blogging and your favorite aspect about your blog specifically: My favorite aspect about blogging is the wedding blogging community and the wedding industry in general. Everyone is lovely, there are lovely things to look at, and it doesn’t ever feel like competition. There are definitely enough brides to go around! I’ve formed some fabulous friendships with other bloggers and we’ve even started a group business with 40 of us – The Aisle Society.
