wording for multiple wedding events

Hello,

I see that previous advice regarding inviting guests to multiple wedding events (welcome dinner, Sunday brunch) is to have separate invitations. Does each event have to have its own invitation? Can we just make the invitation part of the wedding invitation? Or simply include the separate invitation(s) with the wedding invitations?

Also, would the RSVPs also be separate, or can we put all the events on one RSVP card?

Thank you!

Nancy Tucker

The invitation itself should address only the ceremony and reception. Any other activities should be included in the invitation but on separate enclosures.

I completely agree.

Thank you both for your advice!

Sorry to be so persistent, but is it okay to list all of the events on the RSVP card? Something like:

Your response is kindly requested by the 7th of May, 2007

M ________________________________________

Kindly indicate the number of persons attending
___ Welcome Dinner, June 7, 2007
___ Ceremony & Reception, June 9, 2007
___ Brunch, June 10, 2007

**********************
Thank you!

It is best to avoid asking for the number of attendees to any event as it implies that the guest may bring others with him.

It would be all right to include these activities on the response card.

Best wishes,
