I understand that it is a traditional custom to not include reply cards with wedding invitations – especially in really formal, Southern weddings. What is the customary way to RSVP to a wedding that does not include a reply card with the invitation?

Please write this formal reply using your best handwriting and your best formal writing stock–very nice paper. This could even be written on formal blank cards. A nice stationary store might be a good place to shop for this.

Here is an example using my name:

Or

regrets that she is unable

to accept
