Now a day’s people are mostly posting about their wedding plans on social networking sites. But it is not a sensible thing to do. Sometimes people interfere and start gossiping about the wedding. Wedding has its own ethics which should not be exposed to social network behavior. People stress about creating the perfect wedding day but by including some aspects of our digital society we can actually add stress. Here are some do’s and dont’s for how weddings and technology should meet:

  • Sometimes people gossip regarding marriage preparation which is not acceptable, so don’t post everything online.
  • For the photography, make sure a good quality camera is used on the wedding day. A mobile phone is no substitute, but many guests will post these pictures from their phones online.
  • Anyone that takes your picture may upload it to a social networking site. Ask your guests not to post if you don’t want to see your wedding pictures up online.
  • Use of big digital TV at wedding is advisable so that each guest at wedding party is able to see the bride and groom.
  • Don’t disclose your wedding surprises to the guests at the time of inviting them as it may lower their interest.
  • Don’t let people’s take your snap with flash as flashes are a distraction.
  • Take notes to prepare a wedding speech to prevent nervousness. People use a tablet or I- pad to write important notes.
  • Avoid taking phone calls or sending texts while your wedding ceremony is going on as it can break your concentration.
  • As many of the times people wish to see the wedding photos and videos. You can upload them on social media sites where your close friends can access them with your consent.
  • In the wedding party it is clear that guest will give you gifts. So while checking the gifts, don’t make harsh comments via text to the guest.
  • You can also share the wedding location on Google map and can share the link with guest so that don’t find any problem while coming to the wedding place.
  • On the wedding day you can also take photos of your own as you are going to look great that day and may want to keep memories when the photographer isn’t around.
  • Don’t upload any embarrassing pictures of your wedding on a social networking site.
  • Hide your profile from unknown persons by using proper privacy settings.
  • Avoid posting about everything as it will spoil your surprise.
  • Just as many set a countdown for New Year, in a similar manner you can set a countdown for your marriage on social site.
  • You can use various editing tools for your photographs before posting them online.
  • It is not advisable to carry you cell phone all day,  It’s better kept it in a clutch.
